Throwing Shapes to play album launch show in Dublin tomorrow
Tickets are on sale now and can be found at the link below.
Throwing Shapes are set to perform at the Bello Bar, Dublin on Friday, November 7.
The album launch event celebrates the Dublin-based band's self-titled debut, released in September.
The group pairs 18th century wire-strung harp with modular synthesis and brushed percussion, with most of the band's music guided by the Mullaghmast harp – a replica of what would have been played in Ireland in the 1700s.
The trio, consisting of Méabh McKenna, Ross Chaney and Gareth Quinn Redmond, met in 2023.
Between the three, they have had previous album credits and live contributions for artists including John Francis Flynn, Villagers, Aoife Nessa Frances, Ye Vagabonds and Maija Sofia.
Tickets for Throwing Shapes' Bello Bar gig are on sale now and can be found here.
