The Visionaries Choir announce National Concert Hall gig
The show comes in aid of the research charity Fighting Blindness.
The Visionaries Choir have announced their concert The Visionaries and Friends for October 14 at The National Concert Hall, coming in aid of the research charity Fighting Blindness.
Made up of blind and vision-impaired people, The Visionaries Choir was founded in September 2015 by John Delaney, Frank Kelly, and Peter Gorey as part of the The Visionaries School of Music.
They will be performing in the National Concert Hall along with other blind, vision-impaired and fully sighted musicians, including artists from the legendary Neary’s Sessions programme.
The event is said to blend “choral harmonies, traditional Irish tunes, bluegrass rhythms, and pop favourites into one unforgettable night.”
Founded in 1983, Fighting Blindness is a patient-led charity with a mission to cure blindness, funding research into treatments for sight loss. Find out more about the charity here.
Tickets for The Visionaries and Friends at The National Concert Hall sell for €20 here.
