The Saw Doctors continue tsunami fundraising effort

Having raised €17,000 for the Galway Sri Lanka Relief fund with the first pressing, The Saw Doctors are making another 1,000 copies of their live New Year’s Day CD available through their official website.

To distinguish it from the original of the species, the Mk. 2 album has a different cover featuring Jimmy Lawlor’s original painting, ‘Connemara In A Nutshell’.

Meanwhile, the band are putting the finishing touches to a new album in Spiddal’s Cuan Studios, and then heading to New York for a May 14 show in BB King’s Blues Club – the day, incidentally, before NY’s Championship GAA match against Galway.
