A New York City street is to be named 'Ramones Way' in honour of the band.

The Ramones are to have a New York City street in Queens named in their honour.
'Ramones Way' is set to be rechristened in the Autumn according to Joey Ramone's brother, Mickey.

The band's first album will be 40 years old in September. A commemorative edition of the self titled album will be released in celebration.
