The National curate Grateful Dead tribute LP
Vampire Weeked, Bon Iver and Kurt Vile will also feature.
Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National are putting together a collecton of covers to legendary jam-band The Grateful Dead.
Along with the Dessners, the star-studded record will feature Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo, Yo La Tengo's Ira Kaplan, as well as members of The Walkmen and The War On Drugs.
No release date has been revealed, but proceeds will go to non-profit AIDS awareness organisation Red Hot.

As for the Dessners' day job, The National play Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 9 and Dublin's O2 on November 10.
