The Membranes play two Irish dates this weekend
The Blackpool post-punks hit Clonakilty Guitar Festival and Fibber Magee’s
Following their roof-raising support to Therapy? last year The Membranes return to these shores to play Clonakilty on Friday and Dublin on Saturday.
The Clonakilty show is part of the town’s Guitar Festival and the band will hit
the DeBarra’s stage at 11pm. The Dublin gig will take place in the basement of Fibber Magee’s on Parnell Street and support on the night comes from Protex, I Am A Carcrash and Alien She.
The band, who released the lauded album Dark Matter / Dark Energy in 2015 are in the process of preparing a remix long-player on which The Manic Street Preachers, Mark lanegan, Killing Joke and work re-work their tracks.
