'The Cake Sale' album to be performed live
Belfast’s Black Box is the venue on March 9 as the Oxfam charity album, The Cake Sale, gets a live airing.
Depping for the artists on the album version are local heroes Joe Echo, Ursula Burns, Johnny Black, John D’Arcy and The Cutaways. Tickets are £5.
Staying in Norn Iron, and Derry noise merchants Fighting With Wire have signed to Atlantic Records after the company’s CEO, Craig Coleman, stumbled across them on the internet.
The trio had already recorded a new album for the independent Smalltown America label, Man Vs. Monster, which Atlantic will co-release on March 10.
