The Bee Gees top the Irish Album chart
Plus a good week for new entries...
A week after family, friends and fans have said goodbye to Bee Gee legend Robin Gibb, the band's Number Ones collection has reached the top spot on the Irish Album charts.
Last week's #1 Ed Sheeran drops back into second place while this week's highest new entry, Brian Kennedy's Voice, debuts solidly at #3. Elsewhere in the Top 5, One Direction drop back two places to #4 and #5 goes to another new entry, Amy MacDonald's Life In A Beautiful Light.
Meanwhile Bruce Springstein and Jay-Z & Kanye West both regain spots in the Top 10 (#6 and #9 respectively) while Adele, Imelda May and Emeli Sandé all move back down the list (#7, #8 and #10).
It's a similarly good week for new entries in the Indie charts with Brian Kennedy's Voice, Hot Chip's In Our Heads and Bobby Womack's The Bravest Man In The Universe all debuting in the Top 5 (#1, #3 and #4 respectively) knocking Adele to #2 and Alabama Shakes to #5.
In the Singles charts, Cheryl debuts at #1 with 'Call My Name' while Euro 2012 anthem 'The Rock Road To Poland' and Flo Rida's 'Whistle' both stay put at #2 and #3. Eurovision winner Loreen drops three places to #4 this week, deposing Maroon 5 Feat. Wiz Khalifa whose 'Payphone' drops to fifth.
