TG4 confirms return to Electric Picnic with performances from HipHap Gaelach, Burnchurch and Bog Bodies
Beo ón Electric Picnic will see Rua Rí, Clada, Ispíní na hÉireann and many more perform as Gaeilge.
TG4 have announced they will return to Electric Picnic with Beo ón Electric Picnic on August 30.
The special hour-and-a-half show will feature live music performances from artists in the TG4 studio at The Hazelwood/An Chollchoill and Puball Gaeilge stages.
Playing at this year's Beo ón Electric Picnic are HipHap Gaelach, Rua Rí, Clada, Burnchurch, Leatsa, Méabh Mulligan agus Eva Carroll, Bog Bodies, Birch, Ispíní na hÉireann, Saibhín and many more.
Following the success of last year's broadcast, presenters John Sharpson and Síomha Ní Ruairc will be offering live coverage of the sold-out festival, with intimate acoustic sessions and interviews.
"The Irish Language has a huge place at Electric Picnic and Beo ón Electric Picnic will celebrate this," read the press release.
"Síomha and John will speak to the people bringing all of this to life from festival organisers to artists to festival goers."
The 2026 festival will be headlined by Lewis Capaldi, Sombr, Gorillaz, CMAT, Zara Larson, Fontaines D.C. and Amble. This year welcomes the Glow Depot stage, a new late-night urban cityscape built in the woods from upcycled plastics, as well as the MindField arena celebrating its 20th anniversary.
