Television confirm Dublin return
The New York guitar legends return to Dublin on June 12 for a show in the Dublin Academy, tickets for which go on sale on Friday March 20 priced €32.
Part of the same CBGBs (and other toilet venues) scene as Blondie, Patti Smith and Talking Heads, the Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd-fronted band had to go to the UK to score their first top 30 hit with Marquee Moon - an album that for once really deserves to be described as 'seminal'.
While Lloyd is no longer with them, they remain as enticing a live prospect as ever.
