Stormzy to play the Dublin 3Arena
The hip hop superstar is bringing his world tour here next September. In the meantime, he wants Boris out...
The big breaking news is that Stormzy is bringing his world tour to the Dublin 3Arena on September 8 next year. Tickets priced from €49.50 go on sale next Friday at 9am.
The 55-date trek will be sweeping across Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and North America in a disorderly fashion in support of his Heavy Is The Head album, which is out on December 13.
Having been called up as a last minute replacement headliner, the Londoner comprehensively stole the Longitude honours during the summer. It was every bit as incendiary as his Glastonbury performance, which found him donning a Union Jack stab vest in protest at rising peer-on-peer violence.
His urging young people to get involved in the upcoming UK General Election resulted in over 300,000 late registrations – and a ticking off from Michael Gove. Let’s hope those extra votes do for Mikey-boy and Boris.
