Stars of Today FM will be in full attendance on the Today FM Sound Garden stage at Electric Picnic 2025
“We’re back and we’re bigger than ever before!" says Ian Dempsey. "I cannot wait to step back on stage in Stradbally in what will be Today FM’s 11th year as official radio partner of Electric Picnic..."
People who have attended Electric Picnic regularly will be well familiar with the colours and the logo of Today FM. The station has been official radio partner of the biggest and most internationally famous festival in Ireland for many years now – and 2025 will be no exception, with the Today FM Sound Garden getting ready to rock the nation!
The Today FM presence in Stradbally has always been a striking one, with the station’s familiar yellow and blue livery offering a distinctive and colourful beacon, even in what is a marvellously animated EP arena.

As we go to press, the precise line-up that’ll feed info, insights, interviews and everything else that matters to Today FM listeners at home or en route to Stradbally has yet to be finalised. However, what we can say is that all of the Today FM prime time line-up will be there across the weekend, lending added excitement to what is a genuinely important weekend for a station that has established itself at the forefront of national broadcasting in Ireland.
This means that fans can expect to see long-established national figures like Ian Dempsey and Matt Cooper, alongside mega crowd-pleasers Dave ‘Bad Jokes’ Moore and chats and craic expert, Ray Foley – with the superbly talented Louise Cantillon, Paula McSweeney and Claire Beck leading the female contingent.

On returning to The Sound Garden stage, Ian Dempsey said:
“We’re back and we’re bigger than ever before! I cannot wait to step back on stage in Stradbally in what will be Today FM’s 11th year as official radio partner of Electric Picnic. This year we have it all. Expect to see all your favourite Today FM stars, some rockin’ DJ sets, live bands, floor fillers and so much more. I’ll be bringing back my own ‘Rose of EP’ event, so make sure to pop over for the official crowning ceremony of that! We’ll also be announcing our full line-up very shortly so keep your eyes and ears peeled. See you all in Stradbally!”

Needless to say, a visit to the Today FM Sound Garden is a must for your EP checklist. There’ll be the opportunity to interact with the Today FM team and to get a glimpse of some of Ireland’s biggest broadcasting stars as they go about the business of spreading the atmosphere and good vibes that prevail every year at Electric Picnic. That’s not all, the Today FM stage will also be home to a number of Ireland’s biggest DJ’s, live bands, crowd pleasers and so much more.
Watch out for further announcements on hotpress.com – and from Today FM, who will announce the full weekend line-up on Monday 18 August.
See you in Stradbally!
