Spaniard in the works
THE CORRS HAVE linked up with Latino superstar Alejandro Sanz in an attempt to crack the Hispanic market.
The spoils of their recent recording session will be split evenly, with ‘Me Ir’ appearing on Sanz’s new album, El Alma Al Aire, and ‘Una Noche’ gracing a special South American version of The Corrs’ In Blue.
“It was great,” Alejandro enthuses. “Like a total 69, I sing in English and they sing in Spanish. She did pretty good actually.”

The Corrs aren’t the only ones eyeing up the continent, with Westlife this week recording Spanish versions of ‘I Lay My Love On You’ and ‘When You’re Looking Like That’. Production duties were taken care of by Rudi Perez, the Cuban studio wizz whose past credits include Julio Iglesias and Placido Domingo.
