Soul Addiction
Am I missing the point here? Or does this latest installation of Soul Addiction sound exactly the same as the last one?
Am I missing the point here? Or does this latest installation of Soul Addiction sound exactly the same as the last one? And does each track on this sound far too similar to make it worth the fourteen-odd quid? Or maybe it’s just me.
Well, if a modern, downtempo take on self-indulgent funk floats yer boat this could be for you. It’s not that these tracks are bad as such – Sonic Generation’s old-school influenced ‘Funky Solution’, Les Voleurs ‘Cabin Fever’ and ‘The Next Move’ by Model are all decent – it’s just they’ll all sound too similar for all but the most stoned.
