Sonic Youth legend headlines Clonakilty International Guitar Festival
Yup, Lee Ranaldo is coming to West Cork!
Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo has been confirmed as the headline attraction at this year’s Clonakilty International Guitar Festival, which takes place between September 16 and 19.
It’s the only Irish show the still cool as fuck 54-year-old is playing, which is likely to lead to a mass migration of post-punk types to West Cork.
Meanwhile, you can sign up for September 18’s attempt to break the world record for playing the most guitars at the same time at [link]www.clonguitarfest.com[/link]. This mass outbreak of rifferama will take place at noon in Emmet Square.
