Songs To Inspire You: Ariana Grande 'Breathin''
As part of our Now We're Talking special issue, we share songs from artists who have talking - sung - through their mental health issues and shared their burdens.
Taken from the pop icon’s fourth album Sweetener, this anthemic hit addressed the panic attacks she suffered from whilst recording. The chorus – “Just keep breathin’ and breathin’” – referenced Grande’s method of coping with the anxiety, whilst elsewhere, she uses thoughts of a loved one to further calm herself: “You remind me of a time when things weren’t so complicated / All I need to see is your face”.
