Soda Blonde announce new single and live streamed launch show
Tickets for their live-streamed launch gig are available now.
Dublin alt-pop quartet Soda Blonde have returned to announce their first post-lockdown single. 'Love Me World' will be unleashed everywhere on the 24th of September, and the band will perform an exclusive launch show – to be streamed from a secret location in Ireland’s capital – on September 23rd.
“'Love Me World' is a song about acknowledging the darker moments of wanting to be loved by everyone," says lead singer Faye O'Rourke, adding that it explores "the idea of bending to fit the zeitgeist in the pursuit of acceptance and love.”
The single is the first release to follow the band's sensational Isolation Content EP, which was written, produced and recorded entirely in lockdown. The band, known for their irresistible hooks and intoxicating harmonies, were tipped by Hot Press as an act to watch in 2020.
