So young but so cold
The majority of this sounds like it could have been recorded in Berlin yesterday. Recommended.
French electronic music from 1977 – 1983. Wait! Come back! This is a surprisingly accessible delight – highlights are the sexy strut of Ruth’s ‘Roman Photo’ with its surprising jazz twist, the simple warmth of ‘Suis-Je Normale’, the camp Kraftwerk-y ‘Person To Person from The (Hypothetical) Prophets and Moderne’s hi-octane synth-pop, ‘Switch On Bach’. The majority of this sounds like it could have been recorded in Berlin yesterday. Recommended.
