It’s another monster homecoming for Gary Lightbody & Co. who are currently assembling songs for their seventh album, due in 2014. Likely to beat it into the shops is The Ghost Of The Mountain, the sophomore offering from Gary’s extracurricular country rock outfit, Tired Pony, which was assembled during February in Los Angeles.
As previously announced on hotpress.com, the Wednesday headliners are Kings Of Leon who debuted a new song, ‘Always The Same’, over the weekend at Napa’s Bottle Rock festival. Clocking it at under three minutes, it lives up to Jared Followill’s pledge that their own new record is “like a mix of Youth & Young Manhood and ‘Because Of The Times’."
