Indie-pop quartet Sea Girls have announced intimate shows in The Workman’s Club and Limelight this October, with tickets scheduled for release tomorrow, May 9.
After the success of their 2017 debut single and EP, Call Me Out, as well as this year’s Heavenly War EP, the London-based indie-pop band will visit Dublin for the first time following a busy summer playing festivals across the UK.
With a sweet, anthemic approach to indie-pop, much like The 1975, the independent band have developed a buzz which has seen them selected in Huw Stephen’s `Ones To Watch for 2018’ for BBC Radio One along with their inclusion in NME’s 100 Artists for 2018.
There has been no formal announcement of a debut Sea Girls’ LP but their steady stream of single releases has yet to slow down. Just today, the band released another sun-drenched single in ‘Too Much Fun’, which the band described in a Facebook post: “Triggered by hearing a siren, the lyrics are of memories flooding back of the previous summer’s excess, humour and playing with fire".
Sea Girls will play at Workman’s on October 23 and Limelight on October 24.
