'Score' sees Isaiah Rashad, SZA and 6lack team up with Kenny Beats
The TDE labelmates have come together for an infectious new song, produced by Kenny Beats - who recently worked with James Vincent McMorrow on his forthcoming album 'Grapefruit Season'.
Rising star of Top Dawg Entertainment, Isaiah Rashad, and Grammy-nominated artist SZA have collaborated with 6lack and Kenny Beats on new track, 'Score'.
Taken from Rashad's new album released today, The House is Burning, the duo's hypnotic offering recounts a previous romance.
The House is Burning, marks Rashad's third record following Cilvia Demo and 2016's The Sun's Tirade. The Tennesse rapper is looking to emulate the massive success of labelmates Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q.
SZA has also had a busy year so far in 2021, getting on the recent NFT (non-fungible tokens) craze.
The neo-soul/R&B artist, real name Solána Imani Rowe, dropped a series of tokens featuring her favourite moments from her 'UNSTAGED' concert set back in June. Speaking about her upcoming music and a potential full-length album, the 30-year-old New Jersey artist said it might not be what fans expect from her.
"I think they’ll be surprised to know that it’s not what they thought, and it’s not coming when they thought," she said. "I hope that they’ll be pleasantly surprised."
