Run the Jewels to perform live at The Olympia Theatre

On December 24, Run the Jewels brought out one of the year's most fiery, energetic and blisteringly good albums of the year, despite leaving it until the last week of 2016 to do so.

In a message to fans, Run The Jewels said: “Fu*k it. We couldn’t help ourselves. It just feels right. After a crazy fu*king year and with a full tour about to set off we asked ourselves what we were waiting for… And we just couldn’t come up with a great answer. You’ve been with us since we started this thing and it’s made such a huge difference in our lives to have your energy and love. Thank you. So as a gift to all of you who have allowed us to continue to do what we love: RTJ3. We busted our asses on this one and we think we made something special this round. Grab it for free, buy it on any of the digital platforms you like or stream it. Physical copies will still be dropping in January as announced but until then: enjoy and we will see you on the road! In addition to hip-hop’s top tag team of El-P and Killer Mike, RTJ 3 also features Danny Brown, Tunde Adebimpe of TV On The Radio, BOOTS, Trina, and saxophonist Kamasi Washington.

Touring extensively around the world and unleashing two much-loved previous albums, Run The Jewels have also raised money for charity via an unlikely cat-themed remix record, performed at Banksy’s Dismaland art installation, instigated art project Tag The Jewels, hosted their own globally broadcast radio show, inspired multiple Marvel comic book covers, become playable characters in a video game, ventured in to Virtual Reality, seen their fist and pistol gesture embraced as a salute of solidarity by music-lovers, and - most importantly of all - won over a worldwide army of loyal fans.

Run The Jewels will perform live at The Olympia Theatre on March 30. Tickets from €36.50 are on sale this Friday at 10am.
