Rubberbandits to headline at The Academy
Following their cameo in Trainspotting 2, Rubberbandits will be taking to the stage in Dublin’s Academy for their first live headline performance on February 4, 2017.
The award winning theatre act have gained notoriety on the Emerald Isle for their mixture of music, performance, video and social media to deliver ideas using their socially engaged artistic form known as Gas Cuntism.
The Limerick duo were selected for Trainspotting's official soundtrack with their ‘Dad’s Best Friend’ track featuring alongside the likes of Blondie, Queen, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Young Fathers.
The performance will feature special guests Deliverence and Colin Devine.
