Rosie Carney shares cinematic music video for 'Awake Me'
The Donegal singer/songwriter's confessional new song, which was released late in January, lifts the lid on issues like depression.
At just 19, Rosie Carney has already experienced more of the tumult of life than most at her age. A post on her website, where she bravely confesses her experiences of depression and sexual assault, are a testament to this. You can read her brave and beautiful post here.
Rosie Carney's video features sensitively shot images of drowning and suffocation to visualise the feelings of struggles with mental health issues. It was directed by Charlie Joe Doherty who Rosie thanks for "capturing the essence and meaning of my song",Check it out below.
