Rosie Carney deals with mental health issues on new song 'Awake Me'
The Donegal singer/songwriter's confessional new song lifts the lid on issues like depression.
At just 19, Rosie Carney has already experienced more of the tumult of life than most at her age. A post on her website, where she bravely confesses her experiences of depression and sexual assault, are a testament to this. You can read her brave and beautiful post here.
Through her raw poetic talent, her experience is channelled into her beautiful music and singing which, at times, recalls the vivid and imaginative folk ambience of Joni Mitchell.
