Ronnie Wood announces shows with Imelda May
"I'm looking forward to kickin' ass with my back catalogue and some new songs - look out London," Wood wrote in a statement.
Ronnie Wood has announced that he will be performing at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, London, on August 21, and at Cologne's E-Werk on September 3, with both shows featuring Imelda May.
"I'm looking forward to kickin' ass with my back catalogue and some new songs - look out London," said Wood.
"I'm thrilled to announce some special shows with my dear friend Ronnie Wood and His Band this summer," wrote Imelda May. "I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to sing with Ronnie. His vibrant energy and love of great music is infectious."
Last month, the Rolling Stones guitarist announced that he would be taking to the stage at Paradiso in Amsterdam on September 7. He later added a second night at the venue.
These shows mark his first full solo sets in over 16 years.
Wood was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Once in 1989 for his work as the guitarist of The Rolling Stones, and in 2012 for his work in the English rock band Faces.
In February, Imelda May performed three shows at Dublin's Vicar Street, as well as at our 50th anniversary concert Hot Press History in the Making: The Concert.
Tickets for the London and Cologne shows will be available on Friday, April 24.
