RÓIS and more take home NI Music Prize awards
See the winners of the NI Music Prize awards below.
This year's NI Music Prize awards saw RÓIS, California Irish, Dani Larkin and more win big.
Folk artist RÓIS, who released her sophomore album MO LÉAN last year, took home the Live Act of the Year and Album of the Year awards.
Americana folk group California Irish secured Single of the Year, while Larkin scored the PRS Creator of the Year Award.
Other winners include Huartan, who earned BBC Introducing NI Artist of the Year and Derry band Polar Bolero, who received the Gerry Anderson Award.
Alan Simms of Shine was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award for his influence on live music culture in the North of Ireland. The artist received messages of support from BICEP, Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Dave Clarke.
Additionally, the night included performances from RÓIS, Esmerelda Road, George Houston, Junk Drawer, Becky McNeice and California Irish.
Duke Special, Nathan O’Regan, Jackie Rainey and Dana Masters payed homage to Van Morrison with a tribute performance.
