Rodrigo Y Gabriela: album details & NCH show

Rodrigo y Gabriela have been quietly – that's loudly, in a soundproof room – beavering away on the follow-up to 2012's Area 51 and now we have the full details.

Entitled 9 Dead Alive, the album features nine tracks, covering 875 years of history and paying homage to a specific individual on each number. Friday April 25 is the Irish release date.

The Mexican duo are also hitting the stage on again. You can catch them in the splendid environs of the National Concert Hall on Tuesday June 24. Tickets, priced at €37, are on sale now from [link]nch.ie[/link].
