Rod Stewart for Kilkenny
This year's Source Festival in Kilkenny will be headlined by the one and only Rod Stewart
Having sold-out his series of Point Theatre and Odyssey Arena shows, Rod Stewart returns to Ireland on June 25 for an outdoor bash in Kilkenny’s Nowlan Park.
With Ronnie Wood living just an hour up the road in Kildare, it’ll be interesting to see if he’s joined on stage by his former Faces bandmates who famously guested at the 2001 Source Festival with Bob Dylan.
Not content with scoring his biggest ever hit with Stardust: The Great American Songbook Volume III, the former Brentford FC apprentice has announced that he’ll be getting married to his longterm girlfriend Penny Lancaster this year.
Romantic chap that he is, Rod got down on one knee and proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tour.
Tickets for Kilkenny go on sale on Thursday April 21.
