Riptide Movement debut at top of Irish album chart

From busking on Grafton Street to playing packed-out Olympia shows, we knew by now that Lucan rockers The Riptide Movement's rise to the big time in this country was more or less complete.
Final confirmation of their seat at the head table comes today as their third album (and first on Universal), Getting Through, goes straight in at No.1 on the Irish Album Chart.
With the top of the chart looking distinctly Irish, Kodaline's debut of real staying power, In A Perfect World, moves into second.
Ellie Goulding holds firm in third, whilst Irish country crooner Jimmy Buckley sees his new compilation jump two spots to No. 4.
George Michael's Symphonica rounds off the Top 5.
In terms of other new entries this week, Derek Ryan's The Entertainer – Live arrives at No. 19, and To Win Just Once,a Saw Doctors' best of, is at No. 25.
