Richard Ashcroft announces 2026 Dublin date
The former The Verve frontman supported Oasis on their reunion tour earlier this year.
Richard Ashcroft has announced a headline show at Dublin’s 3Arena on May 16, 2026, as part of a wider UK and Ireland tour.
Ashcroft will perform in support of his upcoming album Lovin’ You, set to release on October 10.
The tour will also include dates in Cardiff, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, and Newcastle.
Best known as frontman of The Verve, the band released the album Urban Hymns in 1997, which featured songs ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ and ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’.
After The Verve initially disbanded in 1999, he pursued a solo career, releasing multiple albums, including Alone with Everybody (2000) and most recently Acoustic Hymns vol. 1 (2021).
This year, he supported Oasis on their reunion tour, including two sold-out shows in Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
Ashcroft has been a long-time friend of the band, with one of Oasis’ first national tours being support to The Verve back in 1993.
Tickets for his Dublin date will go on sale Friday, October 10 here.
