Rice and Hansard billed for soundtrack

Hedrock Valley Beats, Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan and Glen Hansard are some of the artists expected to make it onto the soundtrack of Goldfish Memory.

Billed as "a light-hearted look at the dangers of dating in modern Dublin", the film is written and directed by Liz Gill who started her career as an assistant to Martin Scorsese.

Currently in post-production, the cast includes Jean Butler (Riverdance), Flora Montgomery (When Brendan Met Trudy), Keith McErlan (Bachelor's Walk) and Fiona Glascott (Veronica Guerin).

Technical sorts may be interested to learn that it's the first Irish digital film to 1) Finish on 35mm and 2) Be edited on Final Cut Pro. No, we don't understand it either!
