Radiohead join TikTok and share mysterious video clip
The video has been viewed over 490,000 times since being uploaded to the platform yesterday.
As TikTok continues to rise in popularity, Radiohead have become the latest band to join the video platform – proclaiming on their account bio: "Proud to be joining the TikTok revolution."
Radiohead's account, which has already garnered nearly 25,000 followers, was launched yesterday with a cryptic video clip, starring the fictional character Chieftain Mews, who is featured sitting at a news desk, in front of Radiohead's logo.
"Say something," someone off camera instructs.
"Well what do you want me to say?" Mews asks. "TikTok, TikTok, TikTok, TikTok. This is your wake-up call. Have a good day."
The clip also features a snippet of 'Paranoid Android', from Radiohead's 1997 album OK Computer. Given that the account was launched on April 1, some fans have speculated that the band's appearance on TikTok ties in with April Fool's Day.
