Pursued By Dogs to play intimate BYOB show
The Dublin outfit have had a productive 2018.
To top off a successful year that has seen the release of their widely-endorsed debut album, a sold-out launch show for it at The Button Factory and a summer laden with festival appearances, Pursued by Dogs have announced that they will be performing a a very special and intimate show later this month.
Set to take place on the Saturday before Christmas (December 22nd), the band will perform in the unique location of Studio 10 on Wicklow Street in Dublin. It's a building steeped in history, most notably being the home of a dressmaking salon by Mai ‘Fifi’ Geldof, who outfitted the likes of Maud Gonne, Constance Markiewicz and Lady Longford in her time.
Purused By Dogs' eponymous debut effort was warmly-received after its release in April, and showcased their ability to shape melodic tunes and powerful choruses in myriad sonic ideas. As a bonus, attendees of the gig have been promised some brand new, previously unheard songs in a stripped-back, semi-acoustic format, before being hit with the more familiar sounds of the record.
The event is a BYOB affair, and if that wasn't enough the first ten ticket purchasers will also receive a copy of Pursued By Dogs on vinyl. Tickets are priced at €15 plus a €1.87 booking fee, and are available now from Eventbrite.
