Puddles Pity Party plays Tivoli Theatre this April
Make way for the new IT clown in your life.
For those of you who are not au courant with obscure clown entertainment acts - a) google Insane Clown Posse and b) meet Puddles Pity Party.
Puddles was one of the stand-out performers on America's Got Talent last year, which, let's be frank, despite having the word in the name, success on the show isn't exactly an indicator of ones inherent natural talent. Yet, it must be acknowledged that this clown can actually sing. Mournfully melodic renditions of pop culture classics like Space Odyssey by Bowie or All By Myself by Dion have won him swarms of fans accross the U.S and can be viewed on YouTube.
Over the years, Puddles, real name Mike Geier has built up quite the online following, toured extensively around the U.S and performed on the animated cult comedy TV show Aqua Teen Hunger Force's tour.
He's set to play Dublin's Tivoli Theatre on the 26th April and tickets will go on sale Friday 9th February at 10am.
So, if you subscribe to the NAS, 'life's a bitch and then you die' nihilistic school of thought and think life is but a joke and death is the punchline, then maybe Puddles own brand of apathetic entertainment is your kind of party.
