This is Lorelei announces new album The Singer in my Band and releases single 'Billy Come Back'
The album is set to release on September 11.
This is Lorelei, also known as Nate Amos, has announced his new album The Singer in My Band, which is set to release September 11.
Beginning in July, Amos will tour internationally and will perform in Dublin at the Button Factory on November 21, with tickets for the show already sold out.
The songwriter and producer is best known as one half of Water From Your Eyes, the New York duo he formed with bandmate, Rachel Brown in 2015.
Alongside the announcement, Amos has released the album's lead single, 'Billy Come Back', accompanied by a new video.

The album follows the success of Amos' 2024 album, Box for Buddy, Box for Star, which was followed by a deluxe version with covers and collaborations including MJ Lenderman, Hayley Williams, and Jeff Tweedy.
Written while touring internationally for his band Water From Your Eyes, The Singer in My Band is described as Amos' first true "road record", drawing on years of travel and life on the move.
“It’s funny, I sent my dad the album after I finished it, and he said it was kind of an 'on the road beatnik' album and that reframed it for me,” says Amos.
“It really is like a collection of chaotic experiences that you have while travelling. They’re also very much little works of fiction with elements of truth to them.”
The album was written, produced and performed almost entirely by Amos, with contributions from his father, bluegrass musician Bob Amos, sister, and partner.
