PREMIERE: The Zang share video for 'Football Sundays'
Take a look at the new video from Belfast's The Zang below.
Following the release of their irresistible new single 'Football Sundays' earlier this month, The Zang are back with the official music video for the track – featuring some questionable goalkeeping.
"'Football Sundays' is about loving football, especially as a kid," The Zang revealed in a statement about the release. "We used to play from morning to night – almost every day of the summer, in school, after school, weekends, wintertime... Weather permitting? We didn't care.
"You do see an ugly side to football too though." they continue. "Sectarianism, racism, homophobia, sexism. You can turn on the news and you're never too far away from racism and violence in sport. We wanted this song to bring people together rather than create divides... Whether we're from different communities, backgrounds, nationalities, when it comes down to it it's all about the right attitude and a simple love for the game."
