Premiere: Pauric O'Meara shares poignant new video for 'Is This Real?'

Ahead of his highly anticipated Upstairs at Whelan's headliner in April, Hot Press are proud to premiere the music video for Pauric O'Meara's moving new single, 'Is This Real?'.

Since its release last week, 'Is This Real?' has already clocked up nearly 20,000 streams. The single is set to feature on the Tipperary singer-songwriter's upcoming EP, Looking Forward To Hindsight. Addressing themes like time, memory and the blessing of hindsight, the reflective EP sees O'Meara exploring the process of a break-up – from the initial cracks, to accepting a new future.

Looking Forward To Hindsight arrives following a landmark year for O'Meara – which saw headline shows at the Sound House and the Workman's Club, as well as his Electric Picnic debut.

Combining raw vocal power and introspective lyricism, 'Is This Real?' establishes O'Meara as one of Ireland's most exciting young stars-in-the-making – with plenty of potential for ocean-transcending success.
