PREMIERE: CADA showcases his innovative editing skills in video for 'Drinkin''
"A self-shot piece of hyperrealism," the video for 'Drinkin'' is available here for your viewing pleasure.
For the second single from his most recent album Fugue State, CADA (real name Colum Jordan) has picked 'Drinkin''.
Hot Press is proud to premiere the innovative black and video for the track (released February 10), featuring some exciting editing techniques.
Described as "a self-shot piece of hyperrealism, filmed in the artist's home in January, it melds generative, audio-reactive CGI with real footage. It was shot over two days in January during a couple of hours in the late morning when the sun would flood through the house."
The piece was self-directed by CADA, a visual artist and a musician, with the Dublin artist also showcasing some of his skills outside of music here.
You can purchase CADA's album Fugue State from his Bandcamp here.
Watch the video for the second single from the record, 'Drinkin'', out February 10, below.
