Post Malone dethrones Taylor Swift on this week's Irish Music Charts
Posty, Taylor, and Ed reign supreme.
The Irish music charts are in for this week and we have a new release coming in on top. Post Malone's third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding outperformed its nearest competition – Taylor Swift’s Lover – by nearly 3:1 to finish the week as the most digitally downloaded and streamed album. This is Posty’s second Irish number 1. It makes sense, he no doubt has a huge Irish fanbase. Remember last month when he rocked Dublin’s RDS Stadium?
Taylor Swift still is sitting pretty earning the number 2 slot this week for her record Lover. She’s followed by Ed Sheeran with his No.6 Collaborations. Moving up in the rankings this week is Lewis Capaldi with Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. Then lastly at number 5 is Billie Eilish’s WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?
In other chart news, Manchester rapper Aitch’s new EP AitcH2O makes a splash at Number 18, while fellow up-and-comer Tones & I make strides with her EP The Kids Are Coming, up ten to Number 40.
