Pod lines-up weekend comedy fest

The Pod will host a feast of comedy talents this coming Bank Holiday Weekend (October 24-27), with US comedian Roseanne Barr topping the bill.

Roseanne – yes, the one from the TV show – makes her stand-up debut in Ireland on October 24 at Tripod.

Perrier winner and Dublin native, Sean Hughes is in the same venue on October 25, with controversial Aussie comic Jim Jeffries at the Button Factory on October 27.

Other highlights are Canada's Glenn Wool, now based in London, sketch group We Are Klang, and Last Comic Standing finalist Matt Kirshen.
