Paul Brady + Luka Bloom albums

First to hit the racks on February 4 is Paul Brady who proudly talks of Say What You Feel being recorded "the old-fashioned way."
"MIDI, sequencers…all that disease that came into music in the 80s and '90s – I was infected like everyone else was," he reflects. "I haven't made a record like this since Hard Station in 1981. It's like going back to square one. The musicians didn't always know what was coming next, and it made for an eclectic, slightly dangerous atmosphere that came through in the music."
Along with the title-track, stand-outs include 'Don't Try To Please Me', 'Living For The Corporation', 'Doin' It In The Dark' and 'Beyond The Reach Of Love'.
Next up is Innocence, the latest studio outing from Luka Bloom, which was recorded in deepest, darkest Kildare with Bloom and Brian Masterson co-producing. Along with 12 originals, the collection includes a nifty cover of the trad standard 'Larry Redicon's Bow'.
