Parallels
A decent reflection of what’s really happening on a lot of the more clued-in dancefloors at the moment
Obsessive give two almost-unknown DJs the chance to do their thing over two CDs. Morris takes the progressive house/trance route, including underground belters from Mainframe, Tarantella, and Rob E – and he drops the classic ‘Vernon’s Wonderland’ at the end to remind us that it’s ok to enjoy ourselves occasionally.
Marks’ mix heads heads down tech-house alley with greater success, including jollies from Jamie Anderson, Funk 198, X-Press 2 and Lee Coombes.
