Paddy Casey to return to Ireland for ESB BEO
Paddy Casey has announced that he will perform his first solo gig in Dublin following his American Tour, at the National Concert Hall this August, as part of the ESB BEO festival.
Fresh from promoting the American release of his 2007 album Addicted To Company and a performance on The Late Show with Dave Letterman, singer-songwriter Paddy Casey will open this year's festival with a gig in the National Concert Hall on August 16.
Another performer returning from the States for the festival will be Damien Dempsey, who performs tracks from his 2008 album The Rocky Road on August 23.
Now in its ninth year, the ESB BEO Celtic Music Festival will also feature Celtic duo Buille and Scottish salsa band Salsa Celtica on August 17 as well as a number of lunchtime concerts.
Tickets for the festival, which includes entry into all three evening concerts, are priced €20-€40. For more information, visit www.nch.ie.
