Olivia Rodrigo shares new single 'bad idea right?'

American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo has shared her new song  ‘bad idea right?’

It’s the second single from her upcoming sophomore album GUTS, following up from ‘vampire’ which came out at the end of June.

“I had such a fun time making this song with Dan Nigro in nyc last year,” said the singer on an Instagram post. “We wrote the chorus as a joke but we loved it so much we made it into a full fledged song.”

“I had a ball making the music video with my friends and I’m so happy it’s out in the world,” she added.

Her debut album SOUR was an instant success and earned Rodrigo three Grammy awards. Her rapid rise to pop stardom continued with her role in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

The 19-year-old artist is known for her ability to express the complexities of teenage emotions through her music, which has resonated with listeners of all ages, particularly young fans.

GUTS is scheduled to be released on 8 September.
