WATCH: O Emperor release new music video for Richard's Dream

O Emperor have released a new music video for 'Richard's Dream'. The track comes from the band's third and final studio album, Jason, out now.

The album came about as the group decided to diversify and stay clear of typical song structures. Instead the 5-piece opted for a heavily improvised groovy sound, unlike anything made in this century. The records of early '70s African psychedelia were to be a mental benchmark for the band.

After fifteen years of writing, recording and performing together the group are calling it a day. O Emperor will play their farewell shows in Dublin, Cork and in their hometown Waterford. Laurie Shaw & the Swamp People will support the group on their last hurrah. Vinyl copies of the album will be available at the shows.
