Northern uproar
We have BBC Radio 2 to thank for music series Live In Belfast, featuring Mundy, The Amazing Pilots, James Yorkston, Kidd Dynamo and more
The North's preposterously busy musical year continues with Live In Belfast.
Running from September 21 to 28, the BBC Radio 2-sponsored line-up includes The D4, Mundy, Nick Kelly, Justin Sullivan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, James Yorkston, Eleanor McEvoy, Brian Houston, Jim Armstrong, Ursula Burns, Nina Hynes, Kieran Kennedy, The Amazing Pilots, Desert Hearts, Kidd Dynamo, Pay*ola and dozens more.
Another highlight for, ahem, more mature readers is the Good Vibrations: 1977 And All That… night that's being hosted by Terri Hooley in Lavery's Bar on September 22. Doors open at 8.30pm with admission a very reasonable free.
