Noah Kahan debuts at No. 1 on the Irish Singles Chart with 'The Great Divide'
The American folk-pop singer will release his new album on April 24.
Noah Kahan has debuted at no. 1 on the Irish Singles Chart with his new single, 'The Great Divide'.
It's his second no. 1 Irish single after his 2022 hit 'Stick Season'.
The multi-platinum artist's 2022 album of the same name reached no. 1 on the Irish Charts in December 2023. It has spent 14 weeks in the no. 1 spot and 139 weeks and counting on the Irish Top 50 Albums Chart.
'The Great Divide' explores a byegone friendship coloured by religious trauma over sweeping folk rock instrumentation. The single was released in anticipation of his fourth LP, also titled The Great Divide.
This week on the Irish Singles Chart, Kingfishr stay steady at no. 2 with 'Killeagh'. Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, the latter of whom won the Grammy for Best New Artist last week, take no. 3 with 'Rein Me In'.
RAYE's 'WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!' moves up a spot to no. 4. And no. 5 is Djo's 'End of Beginning' in its 39th week on the chart.
Kahan played Dublin's Marlay Park last summer, after which Stick Season reclaimed the no. 1 spot on the Charts.
The Great Divide comes out April 24, 2026 via Mercury.
