Nicole Maguire releases single

Nicole Maguire's new album will be released on October 3, pre-empted by a single 'I'm Gonna Be', which is out tomorrow (August 1).

Maguire, who has supported Paddy Casey, The Walls and Bagatelle earlier this year, has also announced a number of show to promote this launch.

She plays: Cyprus Avenue, Cork (August 1); The Invisible Bar, Youghal (2); World Fleadh, Portlaoise (3); The Platform, Clonmel (4); Cobh Regatta (9); The Passion Fruit Theatre, Westmeath (September 6); The Bulman, Kinsale (20), The Invisible Bar, Youghal (26).

Also pencilled in is a five week residency every Monday night in September at Cyprus Avenue, Cork.

Her onstage performances have garnered wide acclaim, even attracting the attention of Morrissey, who caught Maguire's show when she played support for Damien Dempsey this summer.
