Nick Kelly film makes it onto Oscar shortlist
Shoe screens next month at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
Nick Kelly has been talking about the Oscar shortlisting of Shoe, a 13-minute film that was written and directed by the Fat Lady Sings man.
“Alas, we didn’t make the final five nominees announced yesterday, but I’m still really proud of our wee movie, and very humbled by the number of people who’ve said and written nice things about it,” says Kelly who also has an album out at the moment under the Alien Envoy banner.
One of ten films that received a ‘Live Action Short’ nod from the Academy, Shoe screens at 6.30pm on February 19 as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
